Ormskirk Priory Mark Lodge No 1019 Installation
25th November 2021

In late November 2018 W.Bro Tony Prior was installed into the Chair of Adoniram in Ormskirk Priory Mark Lodge and his tenure was severely impacted by the Covid 19 pandemic. He was only able to install his successor in November 2021. He must have enjoyed his tenure though as he was installed only 2 weeks ago into the Chair of Ormskirk Mark Lodge.
Installing Master W.Bro. Tony Prior, WM W.Bro. Ian Kennedy, PProvGJO.
New DC W.Bro David Rawcliffe PProvGSW
The experience he gained then ensured that Tony expertly installed W.Bro Ian Kennedy PProvGJO. Ian was previously in the Chair of 1019 in 1997 and 2010 and certainly should know the ropes by now!

The Meeting was in the presence of the Provincial Grand Master’s Representative V.W.Bro Maurice Evans PGJO.
Lodge Secretary, V.W.Bro Fred Hargreaves PGJO, The Representative V.W.Bro Maurice Evans,
WM, W.Bro. William Cropper JGJD
Although, post Covid lockdown, attendance was very limited there were 4 other guests besides myself and all thoroughly enjoyed the Ceremony despite it being hampered a little by the resignation prior to the Meeting of the DC, for legitimate personal reasons, leading to a lack of practice and the short notice appointment of W.Bro. David Rawcliffe PProvGSW as acting DC for the evening. David’s appointment as permanent DC was later confirmed by the new WM.

Ormskirk Priory Mark are privileged to have as their Secretary V.W.Bro Fred Hargreaves who keeps them on track under all difficulties and he at 2 seconds notice presented the Working Tools to the new Master in exemplary fashion and followed up with the explanation of the Keystone Jewel. I of course addressed the Brethren prior to bringing the PGM’s congratulations and good wishes.
The Installing Master congratulated by the Special Representative.
All things considered everything went rather well in the end.

Ormskirk Masonic Hall is renowned for the quality of its Festive Board and lived up to high expectation.

Another evening to be enjoyed in a most friendly, if small, Lodge
